How to get to the venue
Directions to the Zouk heaven!
Venue location
The event takes place in:
Arena van Vletingen
Lange Violettestraat 277A
9000 Gent, Belgium
Attention!
- It’s a heavy door so you may need to push hard.
- Close the main and the glass doors behind you every time when entering and leaving to keep the good energy and sound inside and the cold outside 😉
Travel by car
The venue is situated in the “Low Emission Zone” in Ghent but only 500m inside the zone. To be allowed to enter this zone by car you need to register your car on the official website of the city: In most cases this is for free and doesn’t take much time to do, but saves you from getting a fine!
We highly recommend to do some carpooling to get to the event. To help you in offering and asking carpooling spots, you can use this carpooling sheet. We also made a specific Travel & accommodation WhatsApp group that you can use to organize carpooling and accommodation.
Parking possibilities:
- Parking in surrounding streets in the “orange zone”, paid expect for Sunday and public holidays (9-23h, 1,80€/h, max 5h), free at night (23-9h), limited spaces in general, see Stad Gent parking fees (inside low emission zone).
Using an app such as 4411 to pay the street parking fees makes your life easier. - Underneath the highway exit at 9 min walk, paid expect for Sunday and public holidays (9-23h, 1,80€/h, max 5h), free at night (23-9h), a bit more space in general, see Stad Gent parking fees (outside low emission zone).
- Underground Parking Gent Zuid at 7 min walk, paying but almost always space, €16/day or 2€/h, see interparking parking fee (outside low emission zone).
- Parking in the streets outside the city ring in the “green zone” at min 10 walking, paying till 19h on Friday and Saturday (9-19h, 3,50€/day) and free on Sunday and public holidays, see Stad Gent parking fees (outside low emission zone).
- Cheapest option:
Use a park and ride outside the center where you can park for free. We recommend P+R Gentbrugge Gentbrugge E17 (150 free places) or P+R Gentbrugge Gentbrugge Arsenaal (250 free places). If those are full, we advise to try this free parking at 10 min walking from the bus stop. From there you can take tram “2” direction Zwijnaarde. Step in at stop “Gentbrugge P&R” for the first P+R or “Gentbrugge Schooldreef” for the second P+R. Get out at stop “Gent Vijfwindgatenstraat” and walk from there to the venue (3 min). For the return take tram “2” direction “Melle Leeuw” and step out at the stop you came from. The tram ride takes 12 min and costs 2,50€. Plan your travel and pay your ticket with the app “De Lijn”.
